The Darkroom is situated at the top of George Fisher. It blends the dual heritage of the recent Abraham’s Tea Room with the building’s original use, a photography shop, opened by George Abraham in 1887.
The space is warm and relaxed. Excellent locally roasted coffee, great home-made cakes and artisan bagels accompanied with carefully curated playlists provide a lovely little hideaway from the bustle of Keswick’s town centre. We have a range of alcohol too, so if you are celebrating an adventure or a purchase made in George Fisher, then we have you covered.
Local photography, pottery and art can be purchased from the site as well. Things that we enjoy to look at, both in the site and on our walls or in our kitchens at home.
Great coffee, cakes and bagels - a serene pitstop high above Keswick's High Street.
Find us on the 2nd Floor of the iconic George Fisher building on Lake Road.
You'll find us passionate about what we do and ready to help. Meet some of our team!
