A great little route that packs a big punch in terms of amazing views.

Overview

You’ll head out from The Round to the edge of town with a quick uphill blast through Castlehead Wood to the viewpoint.

Have a quick breather and take in the iconic view down into the Jaws Of Borrowdale before heading down to the lake shore and another great view from the Friar’s Crag.
