A neat route that starts at The Round and combines one of our favourite local fells, Walla Crag, with a great terrace run above Derwentwater to Ashness Bridge which is one of the most photographed spots in the Lakes.

If you’re feeling energetic, continue on a short out-and-back to Surprise View.
