EV Charging in and Around Keswick

EV charging at our hotels

Charging your electric vehicle has never been easier in Keswick. Three of the town’s car parks have charging, including a rapid hub in the middle of town, and we have two chargers at Fellpack Skiddaw.

If you’re staying at Fellpack Keswick, you're a few minutes' walk from the town car parks, so it's easiest to use one of the public chargers below.

Using the Charging Network

The quickest charger is the InstaVolt hub in the Booths car park on Tithebarn Street, right by the bus station. You’ll find six chargers running up to 120kW, CCS and CHAdeMO, contactless payment and a shop and café to sit in while you wait.

The Central car park, off Lake Road, has a rapid charger on the GeniePoint network with a slower 7kW Type 2 beside it, and there's also charging at Skiddaw Street car park, which is the cheapest of the three.

The Premier Inn on the edge of town also has a couple of 7kW points. Zap-Map will show you what's free before you set off.

If our bays are full

There are two chargers in the car park at Fellpack Skiddaw. You’ll need to download the Project EV Pro app to get started. We don’t reserve our chargers, but let us know if you’re arriving very low, and we’ll do what we can to make one available. They’re not fast chargers, so if you need a quick top-up, we’d recommend using one of Keswick’s public chargers.

At Fellpack Keswick you're just a few minutes' walk from the town car parks, so it's easiest to use one of the public chargers.
