Erin Moriarty is Head Bartender at Adventures, The Round.
A mover and shaker of things
The Round bar runs to Erin’s beat. A hospitality pro through and through, she finds herself in the Lakes having been charmed by an English man and moving with him to Cumbria (via Bristol) from her native Australia.
A great organiser and coacher of others, she keeps the cocktail quality high, whilst skilfully managing the fun and games that come from a full rack of cheques. Thirty cocktails hitting the board in one minute is the breaking of most; though having worked at a 1,500 cover site in Melbourne she has seen pretty much every drama that could befall a bar & restaurant, and so glides swan-like amidst the maelstrom of busy service shifts.
The Northern and Western fells are her home, and Erin has a particular affinity for the calm, quiet shores of Bassenthwaite.
