We love Walla Crag. We’ve fondly considered it our home fell since the early days of Fellpack, and we often suggest it to people looking for a smaller summit that’s big on beautiful views. But little Walla shouldn’t be underestimated. Sure, you can take it as a leisurely stroll – but you can also pit yourself and your fitness against this little mountain.
That’s why we created the Walla Dash – a challenge to run up and down Walla Crag from The Round as fast as you can. And this year we’re going even bigger with the launch of WALLA WEEK!
From Monday 13 to Saturday 18 June, we want to get as many people as possible to experience our favourite fell as possible. In return for your efforts, we’ll give you a free pint to rehydrate with, and we’ll make a £2 donation to Fix The Fells on your behalf.
The rules are simple:
- Dashers start at The Round – pick up a Walla Dash card from our team and starting our timers (and/or your own) – and head up Walla as fast as you can.
- Take a selfie on the summit with your Walla Dash card.
- Head back to The Round as fast as you can.
Refresh with a free pint of Walla’s Reward and we’ll donate £2 to Fix the Fells. Get a photo and a place on our Walla Dash wall of fame – maybe you’ll even make it to the leaderboard!
For more info, pop into The Round or check out @theroundkeswick on instagram. Happy running!
